What can you do with Muff’n Stuff?!

Want a sweeter muffin or to turn the spice mix into a cupcake? Want to add apples, cranberries, or other favorite goodies?


We’ve compiled some of our YUMMIEST variations using Muff’n Stuff Dry SPICE Mix! Just this one mix offers so many options to make different types of baked goods, you will never get bored!

Banana Spice Muffin

Reduce your oil to 1/2 cup

Add 2 very ripe mashed bananas to the other liquids and blend

Optional: fold in your favorite nuts or seeds

Bake as directed on the package

Apple Spice Muffins

Peel, de-seed, and dice two apples (gala, fuji, pink lady, or granny smith work well)

Fold into the batter and bake an additional 1-2 minutes.


Carrot Raisin Muffins

Fold in to the wet mix 2/3 c raisins and 1 c grated organic carrots.

Bake as directed on the package.

Chocolate Chip Spice Muffins

Fold in to the wet mix 1 cup of Enjoy Life mini chocolate chips or 1.5 cups Enjoy life chocolate chunks.

Bake as directed on the package.

Pineapple Upside-down Muffins

This one is super easy!

Get a can of pineapple rings (or lightly sautee some fresh pineapple with a little maple syrup or sugar) and add them in a single layer to the bottom of the pan. You can also add a cherry to the middle if you’d like.

Add the muffin mix to the top and bake as directed on the package.

Cranberry Muffins

Fold in to the wet mix 1 cup of dried cranberries. Make sure you have checked for possible cross contamination.

Bake as directed on the package.

Powdered Sugar Glaze

1 cup of cornstarch free powdered sugar

1-2 TBSP milk alternative (hemp, rice, almond, etc)

Optional: 1/4 tsp vanilla

Mix together beginning with 1 TBSP milk alternative, blending out any lumps. You want the glaze to be thick but spreadable. Add the optional vanilla too.

Add the other TBSP of milk alternative if needed. If it is too runny, then add more sugar to thicken it up.

As a fun alternative, you can add 1/4 tsp of cinnamon for a spiced glaze.


Make a Cake

For a sweeter cupcake or cake, simply add 1/2 to 1 cup of sugar or maple syrup.

If you add sugar, add it in to the dry ingredients before sifting.

If you use maple syrup, then add it to the wet ingredients before incorporating.

To make a 2 layer round cake, simply pour the batter in to two 8″ round pans and bake between 20-22 minutes. It’s done when a toothpick inserted in to the middle comes out clean.

For cupcakes, bake as directed on package.
